Do not purchase if you have an IPOD Touch
I bought this for use with my Ipod Touch and it doesn’t recognize the ipod at all - it is useless for me……
Update (9/2/2010): This item is currently on sale here for the lowest price I’ve seen.

Satisfied User
This product does what JVC’s web site claims it does, and was relatively easy to install.

You must control the IPod thru the stereo with this
I bought the card to go with the JVC car stereo with HD radio. I felt the iPod adapter would be superior to the generic adapter because you can charge your iPod while you drive. The thing that I do not, then you give up any ability to control the iPod through the stereo. Now, everyone knows that Apple is known for its user interface. Well, forget using the click wheel, looking at lists of songs, etc. You are forced to navigate the contents of your iPod using a single-line monochrome display. Frankly, it sucks. There should be an option where you can control your iPod. I returned the iPod adapter and go to the headphone jack generic. Do not make the same mistake I did.
